The Adventure
It was a bit more of an adventure than we had
anticipated. Winter in Poland!! Well, we did prepare and we did dress
warmly, but we did not anticipate how cold your face and ears can get.
Our first snow in America was so lovely - soft and
fluffy. Driving over unbroken snow on the Beartooth Highway - not so
enchanting. By the time we got to France we really had seen enough snow
to last a lifetime. Probably, if truth be told, we had seen enough by
Norway.
We got snowed on in every country we visited
except Italy - but even then there was still snow on the ground beside
the railway tracks and on the hill tops, even in April.
We met so many absolutely wonderful people, whose
generosity we can never repay.
Sorry if the photos seem a little out of order - I
actually tried to keep the photos next to each other to be a similar
size - so I do have to jump around a bit. Just makes it more
interesting!! Keeps you alert!!
